Dead Sea Scroll Scholar and my favorite Hebrew and Torah teacher Nehemia Gordon reveals why he doesn't see Jesus in Isaiah 53. I've learned so much from this man. Nehemia knows the New Testament better than many Christian Scholars. Although he says he doesn't believe in Yeshua (Jesus), I think he might be a secret disciple like Joseph of Arimathaea. In this delightful and informative interview Nehemia puts forth his idea of Messiah.

Rare Solstice Full Moon
For the first time since June 1967 the Summer Solstice and the Full moon will occur on the same day. Today (June 20) at 6:34 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, the northern hemisphere will reach its maximum degree of tilt toward the sun, making it the longest day of the year. Also this evening just after sunset the full moon will rise in the east. The last time this happened (June 1967) the Jews took control of Jerusalem.
Could today’s celestial event have prophetic overtones? There could be another shift in the Middle East, possibly involving the Temple Mount. Genesis 1:14 states, “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:” Also Jesus said, “there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars “ (Luke 21:25). Look to the east this evening to see a rare Solstice Full Moon.
Update - There has been some confusion concerning the last June Solstice Full Moon. Some say it was June 1948, while others say it was June 1967. I checked the timeanddate.com website and found the following: Both the June Solstice and the Full Moon occurred on Thursday, June 22, 1967. The time of the Solstice was 2:23 A.M Universal Time. The time of the Full Moon was 4:57 A.M. Universal Time. They were only 2 hours and 34 minutes apart. I always use my astronomy program to calculate such events and hadn’t checked it out on the internet. Here are the links to the info at timeanddate.com: Solstice - http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/seasons.html… Moon Phase - http://www.timeanddate.com/moon/phases/uk/london?year=1967 - Remember that in June London is 1 hour ahead of UT (Universal Time).
